LA FORTE CROISSANCE DU COMMERCE CONTINUE, MAIS LA DYNAMIQUE POURRAIT S'ESSOUFFLER AU DEUXIÈME TRIMESTRE, SELON L'INDICATEUR COMMERCIAL

L'expansion vigoureuse du commerce devrait se poursuivre, tout en ralentissant légèrement au deuxième trimestre de 2018, selon le dernier Indicateur des perspectives du commerce mondial de l'OMC (WTOI) publié le 17 mai. Le chiffre actuel, à 101,8, demeure supérieur à la valeur de référence de l'Indicateur, qui est de 100, mais est inférieur au chiffre précédent (102,3), ce qui indique que la croissance solide du commerce se maintiendra au deuxième trimestre de 2018, mais probablement à un rythme plus lent qu'au premier trimestre. Le récent fléchissement du WTOI traduit la baisse d'indices correspondant aux commandes à l'exportation en particulier, mais aussi au fret aérien, ce qui peut être lié à l'incertitude économique croissante due à la montée des tensions commerciales.

 

Les Experts de YES Inc ont pu analyser que ces perspectives n'auront pas d'incidence perceptible a court terme sur les Startups. Par ailleurs la tendance s'ameliorera rapidement avec une hausse previsionnelle des productions associee a une plus grande fluidite des echanges.

HIGH IMPACT INNOVATORS FESTIVAL Hi-FESTIVAL

Terms of reference

• CONTEXT

YES Inc. is an organization dedicated to the entrepreneurial culture. It supports, in the Networking Countries, the implementation of Women's Economic Empowerment Policies and the fight against youth unemployment. In Mali, and in the West African Subregion, the Ten-Year Business Incubator Program for Women and Youth is another global commitment. On 6th January 2018, in the presence of Government Authorities, Elected Members, Notabilities, Diplomatic Institutions and PTF, the first Fair of Women and Young Innovators of Mali and Africa (called BITIKINI SHOW) took place in Bamako. . The event which registered more than 2000 participants was coupled with the launch of the Incubation-training of 1,700 Entrepreneurs - Innovators. These Startups will complete, at the end of their preparation in June 2018, to nearly 5,000 the number of innovators incubated by YES Inc MALI during the pilot phase of the Ten-year Incubator Program for Women and Young People. The many African talents being created are, for the most part, serial entrepreneurs and transformation-development actors in their respective communities. They are, moreover, prepared to work towards the multiplication of their own model among women and young people. It is in order to better popularize their talents and amplify the effects of this multiplication that has been designed the High Impact Innovators Festival - Hii FESTIVAL. This Festival of High Impact Innovators will be coupled on June 30, 2018 with the launch of the Incubation of 2000 new Innovators (8th Generation YES Entrepreneurs).  

 

• OBJECTIVES

• Overall objective: Supporting Socio-Economic Development and Employment Policies

• Specific objectives:

 ü Contribute to the promotion of talent in Africa and Mali in particular;

 ü Showcase the talents of innovators revealed and / or hidden from incubated entrepreneurs;

ü Introduce innovative Entrepreneurship Programs and Initiatives,

ü Instill a culture of innovation for women and young entrepreneurs;

ü Promote the entrepreneur model;

 ü Encourage creativity and innovation among women and youth

ü Promote social and economic entrepreneurship in communities.

 

 

 

• STRATEGY

The Hii-FESTIVAL strategy is focused on promoting innovation in its sustainability dimension within the community through women and youth entrepreneurship. The festival is initiated for the popularization and consolidation of talents in order to emphasize the innovativeness of incubated entrepreneurs. It will include: • Providing young women and young people with a space for exchange • Facilitating the inspiration of young people from diverse backgrounds by innovators and entrepreneurial models  

• FINANCING:

Hii FESTIVAL is financed by the Entrepreneurs themselves through the registration fees and sponsorship channels

• PROCEDURE

A commission is set up for the preparations of the Festival. The commission is subdivided into operational bodies, particularly focused on: - design and monitoring, - communication, - logistics. - Material Organization, - Security. The main tasks of the Commission are:   ü identification, fixation, extension of the conditions and criteria for participation; ü validation of the activities identified ü development of the festival site; ü Planning and facilitation of planned communications. ü Development of the program of the day.

- Exhibitions of talents (Speeches innovative approaches, Parade, and other artistic and technological demonstrations) - Presentation of GREEN BUSINESS STARTUPS at the end of the 2nd series <Cours Climat> - Launch of the UNIVERSITY ENTREPRENEURSHIP COACHS Program - The Innovation Forum (panel)

Dallas InBIA Conférence Feedback

 

Du 22 au 25 Avril 2018 Kalilou DAMA, Coordinateur YES Inc MALI a participé à la 32è Conférence internationale de l’incubation d’entreprises tenue à Dallas- Texas aux Etats Unis d’Amérique.

Cette participation a couvert trois principaux volets: *L’animation d’un Panel, *Des rencontres, *Du renforcement de capacité

1. Du Panel

Le 24 Avril 2018 Kalilou a pris part à une session comme paneliste aux cotés de deux responsables du Département d’Etat américain.

La dite session visait à aider les participants et les Politics à mieux comprendre, à travers les expériences de par le monde, les façons de travailler avec les étudiants  et autres jeunes pour promouvoir l'entrepreneuriat comme une option en début de carrière.

Un focus a été fait sur l’expérience malienne à travers le Programme décennal d’incubateurs d’entreprises pour les femmes et les jeunes.

Les responsables du Bureau économique et commercial du Département d’Etat Américain chargées du Global Entrepreneurship Program ont exposé les nombreuses initiatives pertinentes du Gouvernement Américain en faveur de l’Entrepreneuriat des jeunes à travers le monde.

Des discussions très enrichissantes ont suivi les différents exposés.

2.  Du Renforcement de capacités

En marge de cette session du Département d’Etat; Kalilou a assisté à plusieurs sessions traitant à fond de différents aspects de l’Entrepreneuriat, de l’innovation et de l’incubation.

3.  Des rencontres

Plusieurs personnalités importantes de l’industrie de l’incubation à travers le monde ont été rencontrées au cours de cette Conférence internationale qui a regroupe près d’un millier de participants.

4.  Des acquis

Les activités d’incubation et d’innovation en cours au Mali ont été bien partagées. Ainsi:

• Le Programme décennal d’incubateurs pour les femmes et les jeunes du Mali a désormais une plus grande visibilité au plan international et bénéficie d’engagements de soutien multiforme;
•  Les efforts considérables du Gouvernement du Mali en matière d’Entrepreneuriat des jeunes et des femmes ont été mis en évidence;
• Des informations Importantes et idées collectées favoriseront une mise en œuvre plus optimale du Programme en cours au Mali et un partage d’expérience plus productif avec les autres initiatives entrepreneuriales dans la sous région Ouest Africaine et dans la zone UEMOA;
• Divers contacts et nouvelles disponibilités partenariales ont été enregistrés notamment en termes d’Expertises.

Certains Experts ont manifesté une disponibilité immédiate d’appui au Programme et à l’Entrepreneuriat des Jeunes au Mali. La faisabilité et les modalités pratiques de leur assistance feront l’objet d’un examen dans les tous prochains jours en relation avec le Ministère de la Jeunesse et de la Construction Citoyenne et US Embassy.

Dallas InBIA Conference Feedback

 

From April 22nd to 25th 2018 Kalilou DAMA, YES Inc MALI Coordinator attended the 32nd International Business Incubation Conference held in Dallas-Texas in the United States of America.

This participation covered three main components: * The animation of a Panel, * Meetings, * Capacity building

 

1) the Panel

On April 24, 2018 Kalilou took part in a session as a panelist alongside two officials from the US State Department.

 

The session was designed to help participants and politicians better understand, through experiences around the world, ways of working with students and other young people to promote entrepreneurship as an early career option.

 

A focus has been made on the Malian experience through the Ten-Year Business Incubators Program for Women and Youth

 

Officials from the US State Department's Economic and Trade Office in charge of the Global Entrepreneurship Program presented the many relevant initiatives of the US Government for Youth Entrepreneurship around the world.

 

Very enriching discussions followed the various presentations.

 

2) Capacity building

On the sidelines of this session of the State Department; Kalilou attended several sessions dealing extensively with different aspects of Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Incubation.

 

3) Meetings

Several important figures from the incubation industry around the world were met during this international conference that brought together nearly a thousand participants.

 

4) Assets

Incubation and innovation activities underway in Mali have been well shared. So:

• The Ten-Year Incentive Program for Women and Youth in Mali has become more internationally visible and benefits from multifaceted support commitments;

• The considerable efforts of the Government of Mali in the area of ​​youth and women's entrepreneurship have been highlighted;

• Important information and ideas collected will promote a more optimal implementation of the current program in Mali and a more productive sharing of experience with other entrepreneurial initiatives in the West African sub-region and in the WAEMU zone;

• Various contacts and new partnership availabilities have been recorded in particular in terms of Expertise.

Some Experts have expressed an immediate availability of support to the Program and Youth Entrepreneurship in Mali. The feasibility and practicalities of their assistance will be examined in the next few days in relation with the Ministry of Youth and Citizen Construction and US Embassy.

Initiative < Entrepreneurs save Water >

Comme précédemment annoncées, le Lundi 26 Mars 2018 se sont déroulées au siège de YES Inc MALI les activités commémoratives de la Journée de l’Eau. Merci infiniment pour vos nombreuses réactions positives à notre invitation.

Cette  célébration décalée a été marquée par la tenue de la 3^e séance du Cours Climat <GREEN BUSINESS STARTUPS> (série 2). Le thème  exposé et débattu était < l’exploitation de l’Eau >.

Les participants ont appris des talentueux Formateurs à mieux cerner la Problématique et à aiguiser leurs connaissances liées aux différents paramètres de la question hydraulique prise en ses différentes dimensions. Apres les définitions générales, les participants ont été mieux imprégnés des aspects cruciaux liés à l’exploitation de l’eau comme :

• Les Sources d’Eau
• La réserve hydraulique
• La question liée à la Conservation
• Eau et Hygiène, Sante
• Pénurie et Sécurité alimentaire
• La Pollution et le gaspillage : leur manifestation

Ensuite un éventail d’opportunités et de possibilités d’intervention (à tous les niveaux) pour mieux optimiser l’exploitation de l’eau a été mis en relief.

La pertinence de la thématique et son interaction avec le theme de la Journée de la Nature 2018 < La Pollution Plastique> a été établie.

Il a été considéré que le traitement de ces thèmes doit aller au delà d’activités ponctuelles et de commémorations annuelles. Aussi, les participants ont salué la Déclaration de Brazilia du 21 Mars 2018 sur les Principes de la sécurisation de l’Eau.

Une appropriation par tous de la Décennie de l’Eau lancée le 22 Mars 2018 a été également préconisée à travers des initiatives pertinentes et innovantes comme l’initiative <Entrepreneurs save Water> de YES Inc MALI.

Cette initiative d’accompagnement décennale de l’agenda mondial relatif à la protection de l’Eau sera officiellement lancée le 30 Juin 2018 à Bamako à la faveur de la Parade Africaine des Innovateurs dénommée Hii- FESTIVAL.

En attendant ce lancement historique, je vous invite cordialement à envisager, comme à l’accoutumée, des activités et/ou des réalisations éditoriales à la faveur de la prochaine Journée de la Nature  <Earth Day> qui sera célébrée le 22 Avril 2018 sous le theme de la Pollution Plastique.

<Entrepreneurs save Water> Initiative

 

As previously announced, on Monday, March 26, 2018 took place at the headquarters of YES Inc MALI Water Day’s commemorative activities. Thank you very much for your many positive reactions to our invitation.

This offbeat celebration was marked by the holding of the 3rd session of the <GREEN BUSINESS STARTUPS> Climate Course (Part 2). The theme discussed was <the exploitation of water>.

The participants learned from talented Trainers to better understand the problematic and to sharpen their knowledge related to the various parameters of the hydraulic question taken in its different dimensions. After the general definitions, the participants were better imbued with the crucial aspects related to the exploitation of water as:

• Water Sources

• The hydraulic reserve

• The issue of conservation

• Water and Hygiene, Health

• Shortage and Food Security

• Pollution and waste: their manifestation

Then a range of intervention opportunities (at all levels) to better optimize the use of water has been highlighted.

The relevance of the theme and its interaction with the theme of Earth Day 2018 <Plastic Pollution> has been established.

It was felt that the treatment of these themes should go beyond one-off activities and annual commemorations. Also, participants welcomed the Brazilia Declaration of March 21, 2018 on the Principles of Water Security.

Everyone's ownership of the Decade of Water, launched on March 22, 2018, has also been advocated through relevant and innovative initiatives such as the YES Inc. MALI initiative.

This decennial support initiative of the global water protection agenda will be officially launched on June 30, 2018 in Bamako thanks to the African Innovators' Parade called Hii-FESTIVAL.

While waiting for this historic launch, I cordially invite you to consider, as usual, activities and / or editorial achievements in favor of the next <Earth Day> which will be celebrated on April 22, 2018 under the theme of Plastic Pollution.
